The SMART Podium (formerly the Sympodium interactive pen display) enables you to effortlessly control any presentation and bring it to life – all you have to do is connect your interactive pen display to a computer and projector. Write over slides in digital ink, save your notes, access any website or multimedia file and project your work onto a large screen to give your audience a truly interactive experience.
How can you use it?
The SMART Podium can be used for any of the same reasons that a SMART Board or SMART Slate might be used.
It is much smaller than the traditional SMART Board, but much more substantial than a Slate.
The Slate must have the SMART Board attached by Blue Tooth. This takes the place of the Slate and the Board combined.
This hardware device can be used over all grade levels and content areas.
Why would you use it?
Teachers can face the classroom from a lectern or desk and control what is on the SMART Board or screen display.
Students can easily walk up to the Podium and jump right in to the work the teacher left behind.
Show content with maximum detail using a widescreen, high-resolution display
Use the tethered pen to write naturally in digital ink or control applications.
Easy-to-access pen buttons help you present seamlessly.
Save and share notes, screen captures and images using SMART Notebook software.
PRO: Teacher no longer has their back to the students.
PRO: Control your presentation from a smaller area.
PRO: Can use the pen to write in all of the applications and software that you are accustomed to.
